Hi, I’m Kathy…welcome to my blog!  Grab a cup of coffee and get cozy–I can’t wait to spend some time together!

Do you ever feel like there are areas in your life that need a little something different?  Something that will last throughout the years and be a part of the legacy you leave to your family?  Me, too!!

So, who am I, and why am I here?  Well, I’m just a girl with a passion for helping others, a girl with a vision…one that will hopefully inspire you in your health journey, whether it’s through nutrition, physical activity, family life, etc.  I believe there are many facets to health!  I’ve had a journey of my own (haven’t we all?!) that I will share with you throughout future posts.

When I’m not thinking about what to write, I am a mom of 2, a Registered Dietitian, a Master Gardener, and a lover of the outdoors (and paisleys). I have an ongoing passion for the color green, writing, good food, travel, and art!  And let’s not forget my best friend–my Bassett hound, Rosie, who would never dream of letting me move to the next room in the house without her 🙂

I’m excited to share my thoughts, passions, and recipes with you.   I bought my first cookbook when I was 7, and I’ve grown my collection since!  I eat a gluten-free and mostly plant-based diet, so I can’t wait to share some of that yummy goodness with you.  I have years of experience in the clinical field helping clients clean up their diets and make changes that work for them and their families, and I have a strong desire to reach more people.

Just a heads-up–I’m a little silly at times (according to my daughter) and random 😉  Most of my posts will be health & food-related, but you can expect a little about plants & gardening, and maybe even some crafty things (I enjoy making greeting cards, scrapbooking, and painting as I get time).

In the words of my daughter, I cook, I clean, I do marvelous things.. Thanks for being here with me!
